Happy Graduation to Tyler! I tried to take some photos for graduation with my phone and they did not turn out so I’m just going with these photos. They are better anyway because they are of him doing what he loves – military re-enacting.
He likes to dress up in Vietnam War and sometimes World War II gear and go with his friends camping, shooting, and/or making videos that look like they came from that era. It’s a pretty cool hobby.
The first photo is one of my favorites. The Heber Creeper train recently had a special World War II night where they invited Tyler’s group and other World War II people like singers onto the train while people rode and experienced a little of life back then.
I am super proud of Tyler for graduating. School is not easy for Tyler but he tries really hard and does the best that he can. Lumen Scholar Institute has been so good to work with us to help Tyler graduate. They offer so much support and options for those ahead or behind and I feel like they truly cared about Tyler and wanted him to succeed.
He’s not completely sure about what he wants to do next. Right now, he’s finishing up driver’s ed at Orem High so he will hopefully have his license in a few weeks.
He ultimately wants to go to flight school and get a job as a commercial pilot, but until then, he is hoping to find a good-paying job so he can save up a lot of money for flight school.
Because of his persistence and good work ethic, I know he will go on to do great things!

That’s my TJ!
Congratulations Tyler!!
