A lot of our family’s focus the last few months has been on getting Megan ready to go on her mission. We’ve done lots of shopping and everything else a person needs to do to move to 1.5 years. Some highlights were last weekend when she went through the temple for the first time and had her farewell.
The temple was a special experience and lots of family got to be there with us, which made it even more special.

Norm spent a lot of time in our yard this year. Here are a few photos –

Kayla and Ruby had a lot of concerts at the end of the term and they both did a great job. Kayla really enjoys choir and is in school choir, Seminary choir, voice lessons, ward adult choir, stake adult choir, and stake youth choir.
Ruby is enjoying orchestra and practices on her own and is doing well enough her teacher asked her to be in Advanced Orchestra next semester so she is going to do both Intermediate and Advanced Orchestra instead of PE (which was easy for to get out of for 7th and 8th grade – they said 9th grade and up is harder to get out of).
Tyler started working at Arctic Circle a few months ago. There technically wasn’t an opening but Lanny hired him anyway once he heard he was related to the Piccolos. He works about 20 hours a work now and Lanny and his wife have both said he does a good job. Hopefully, he can eventually get up to 40 hours a week. He’s trying to save for a car so if any of you hear of a good deal on a car under $10k in the next few months, let us know.
Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Norm’s garden is beautiful!
