Jan 1st Sister Megan Baron Email

January 1, 2024 //  by Rebecca Baron//  Leave a Comment

Alright this is email #2! It’ll be pretty short just because I’m trying to figure out the best way to write my emails since I don’t have enough time on Pday to write everything I want to say. One of the missionaries said I could write it through the week so I think I might do that!

Anyway I’m doing really well, adjusting quickly, the people here are so nice, at least in the area I’m in right now. Our Christmas was really low-key, we hungout at one of our Senior missionaries houses for a few hours and after, we visited with a few members and participated in their Christmas traditions which was fun! Also happy new year! Did anyone set any goals? I didn’t set any new ones, but the goals I have are to read the Book of Mormon everyday and at least finish it 2 times fully before I’m home. I could probably read it more times but 2 is my minimum. Next is to eat healthy and stay fit through out my mission, and another is to talk to everyone I meet! They’re all going pretty well so I just have to keep them up which won’t be hard! Hopefully you all can keep up on the goals you set! Next email will be more detailed because I’ll be doing it throughout the week. Oh another goal is to actually write an email every week for you all haha.

Anyway I hope you make it a wonderful new year! And that you can accomplish the things you’ve been meaning to. Remember you don’t have to do it alone, God is always there to help you, he loves you and I love you all too! See you next week

Alma 40: 12

“And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow.”
